Title: Bonnie Prince Charlie Tour

Day 1
This two day trip would involve travelling north from Glasgow via Loch Lomond to Glencoe with it’s wonderful scenery and sense of history. It was here that the clan MacDonald was massacred by the Campbell regiment on the 13th of February 1692. Travel north to Fort William We then leave for Ballachulish and onto Fort William. From there we travel west to the village of Glenfinnan where Prince Charles landed in 1745. There is a wonderful monument and visitor centre to the "45 Rebelion" and then on to Inverness via Loch Ness (and the monster) We stay in comfortable accommodation in Inverness.

Day 2
On the second day we visit Culloden Battlefield where the last Jacobite battle took place in 1746 with the defeat of the Prince. After the battlefield we look at the 5,000 year old clava burial cairns before going south to Perth and Glasgow, taking in various sites on the way. Like Blair Castle, Scone Palace and Dunkeld Cathedral.
