Loch Lomond and the Trossachs with it's history of Rob Roy MacGregor, or the battlefields of Scotland's central plain where King Robert the Bruce and Braveheart William Wallace fought for Scotland's independence or perhaps a visit to Ayrshire to the country of Robert Burns, or a day round the great castles of Edinburgh, Stirling and Mount Stuart House, on the Isle of Bute.
