Background on Gordon:

Gordon holds the Glasgow University certificate of Historical Studies and has guided for over 15 years. He is a driver guide of Blue Badge Standard and above.

Hobbies include:
Mountaineering, Golf and Sailing- which coupled with his Certificate of Scottish Historical Studies and Membership of An Comunn Gaidhealach (Gaelic Association) gives him a wide knowledge of Scotland and it's people, making our tours both interesting and informative.

This will leave you in a good frame of mind for the next days activity, eager to seek out more interesting stories and places. Talks on the history of whisky have been a great success including one to Morgan Freeman.

Ceilidh Band
Gordon is the singer in a well Known Ceilidh band playing and also plays guitar.

Robert Burns
Recitations for Burns Suppers or other occasions. including  "The Immortal Memory and Toast to The Lassies" Poems include: Tam O'Shanter: Holy Willie's Prayer: Address to the Haggis. Gordon has performed at approximately 250 Burns Suppers over 30 years, from small local nights to large formal evenings, including; St Petersburg & Moscow Russia: Bombay & Delhi, Kuwait Caledonian Club, Everest Base Camp: The highest burns Supper ever held in the world, 1990.
